E-Spectrum Wins US Department of Energy Phase II SBIR
San Antonio, TX · June 4, 2001 · E-Spectrum is pleased to announce the receipt of a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the Department of Energy. The grant is awarded for continuation of a project to design components for high-pressure/high-temperature geothermal drilling applications based on a high-temperature universal logging computer. At conclusion of the project, E-Spectrum plans to have a commercially-available low-cost, high-temperature, reprogrammable Universal Logging Computer that logging companies will be able to incorporate in their own electronics package.
Funding for the project covers the period from June 2001 to June 2003, and is based on the commendable progress achieved in phase I of this project. Work on the project is being performed in cooperation with the Sandia National Laboratory in Albuquerque.
